Brody D. – Age 29 Cross Bite, Asymmetric multiple missing teeth upper arch, Moderate-Severe crowding of the lower arch

2024-05-20 Pre-Op

Pre-Op Analysis

Age 29

  • Cross Bite with moderate/severe crowding of the lower anterior
  • Asymmetric multiple missing teeth upper arch contributing to RHS cross bite
    • Missing 16 and the 17 is not the same dimension as the 26. The 18 is also malformed
  • Tooth size discrepency – 22 < 12
  • Class II Div 2 – 80% deep bite
  • Moderate-Severe crowding of the lower arch
    • Lower anteriors are crowded (fanned)
    • 33,43 rotated 90°

Dx – the up righting of the unerupted 48 and 38 was discussed as an option at a latter stage. However I will be endeavoring to do some extrusion while we are correcting the occlusion. Finalization can be done as a separate procedure/stage. TADs would likely to be required and the costing will be additional. Brody has noted this
